Weekly Lena & Doris part 1.2

Saturday April 2 

Today we found a new playground just around the corner from where we live. It's not finished yet, but good enough to play in. It's a great playground, mainly made out of wood. There's a slide, a swing, a little house to climb in, pirate boats and much more. We'll definitely come here more often. The only thing I miss is a toilet for Lena and of course coffee for the moms and dads ;-).

Doris was fast asleep when we arrived at the playground, but when she woke up, she loved it too!

Lena practiced riding her pedal bike again today. She's getting so good at it! She can't do it on her own yet, so Imre has to help her get on the bike and hold her while she's riding to make sure she doesn't fall down., but the paddling goes very well and she has good balance too.

Sunday april 3

Today I had a date with our big girl. We love the quality time together, where Lena doesn't have to share my attention with her little sister. We went to one of my favorite spots, Wildernis Amsterdam. We had a drink and a brownie and Lena chatted the day away and after that Lena picked her own plant to take care of.

After our date, we met up with Imre and Doris at the Sunday Market at the Westergasterrein.
